First pics of Melissa Mae. Born at 6.06 pm on Sunday the 30th of November, after a heroic effort by mum and baby. She weighed in at 7 pounds 2, strong, healthy and adorable.
Liz and Missy were allowed home last night after staying in a couple of nights for observation.
Liz is still having some problems with her pelvis, but given time and plenty of rest should make a full recovery.

(The midwives told me I had 'poo' contractions, so I am very proud to have got to 6cm dilation without anything but acupressure, and acupuncture treatments - thank you Khim! Then had to resort to a drip to get them going, which still never gave me really good contractions, gas and air (lovely stuff!) and an epidural! Explains all the messing about and stopping and starting earlier on!)
Job done, mum and baby get to know each other after working so hard together.
